No matter how many times Nydia refused, Vi would insist on stealing a horse when one wasn't for sale. Nydia would never resort to stealing when they had the cash. Also, what made them any more important than the others? In Nydia's eyes, everyone was equal, and the horse keepers needed those horses just as much as they did, but they owned them first. Nydia and Vi had no buisness trying to push them into giving them the horses.
Before she knew it, they entered the small port just before dark.
“Shall we find an Inn? I grow weary of walking…too bad we didn’t steal those horses awhile back…” Nydia rolled her eyes at her sister's sarcastic remark. She was always full of sunshine and rainbows.
"We live, do we not?" she sighed and walked towards a rather large building. "And please, do not speak aloud your self pitty. Just keep it to thine self."
“This one looks good.” Nydia smiled in agreement as they were just about to enter the foyer, but before she opened the door, they stopped. “Why don’t you talk to the stable boy and see if he has any horses to sell. I’ll arrange for us to have a room and maybe a meal while we are waiting. Be back soon.” Nydia placed a fist to her chest and nodded, agreeing to have a word with the boy.
Gracefully, Nydia turned the corner to head behind the inn. There stood a shabby little stable. There was some slight noises of horses rustling about and a boy's voice, relaxing the gentle beasts.
She made her way into the stable and tapped on the boy's shoulder. He got a bit of a start, he had obviously not been expecting anyone, nor did he hear any one approch him. Sometimes she would forget how light her feet can be against the ground.
"My apologies. I had not ment for you to be frightened." the boy blushed slightly, embarrassed he got scared over something as small as a girl.
"No, no. I was not paying attention. Just caught me off guard, is all." Nydia smiled at the young lad. He had soft features and seemed very kind.
"My sister and I were wondering if there was a horse or two to spare. There was an accident, and our's past." Nydia would pay the chap handsomely. She had plenty of gold and she was willing to pay much for the othermeans of transportation. After all, have to keep Vierna happy one way or another.
"Aye mam'. We have two healthy horses." Nydia smiled, proud to hear the news and searched her pack for the change pouch.
"One moment, please." Vierna must have had the gold, seeing as how she was setting them up with a room. Nydia was just about to leave the staple, but Vierna came looking for her instead.

Nydia rolled her eyes at Vi. "Why must you insist on scaring small children?" she paused in thought. "No, I change my mind, do not answer me."
Vierna seemed to dislike the price the horses were set at. After she paid the boy, Nydia glared at Vi and swiped the pouch from her hands. "Here is a copper." of course she would get introuble, but the boy needed a tip for himself. Looking around his stable, he needed a little something. "Well, Vi, what do you suggest we do?"
“I-If it helps at a-all. You can stay here at the s-stables. There are a f-few extra bunks in the back…”
"I think that sounds just lovely! What do you say Vi?"
“What is your name?” Nydia suspected that that was a yes.
“Tristan…”
"Hurrah!" she skipped further into the stables and sat herself on a bunk with a large, childish grin. Its like a slumber party!

Vierna demanded the boy feed the two of them, which wasn't very polite. he offered us a place to stay and she is already treating him like a slave.
He returned later with some stew that smelled good, but that would mean it would have meat in it.
"I like stew." she smiled recieving a bowl from the child. She didn't want to be bothersome so she accepted it and ate around the chunks of beef. Because Nydia is so intouch with her nature, she refuses to eat animals, she even apologizes to the plants that she picks for her meals.
Tristan acknowledged Vi's sword and commented on how he was a swordsmen as well. Though Vi didn't engage into a conversation with him, because that was just how she was. All she really did was make a remark on how he doesn't look like one then left to stay on watch.
"Sorry, she does not warm up too easily. She is a good person when you earn her trust."
Nydia smiled pleasantly as she ate all the broth and vegetables. She set the bowl with left over chunks of meat on the table, because she really didn't know where to put it.
"Tristan? You mentioned wanting to go out and adventure?" her voice was her normal calm. She had a soft voice that was evidence enough she had no evil intentions. "We are on an adventure..Though it gets pretty tough out there. Not what bed time stories make them out to be."

Nydia listened intently to his story. She could understand why he would want to leave. Being sold and having your father figure die. She could not imagine having her actual father dieing, she can somewhat relate with him being sold though. Nydia felt she was abandoned by her father, because of his decisions.
“Why are you to so far away from home? I’ve heard stories and elves like you live in the Cairen Forest.”
She was wondering how much trouble she would get for telling him the truth. Nydia could tell this boy was nice and wouldn't do anything to hurt them, so what would be the harm in telling him?
"Well, my father is the king of our clan, and he made some bad choices. So, now I must run, because the clan's princess type figure and daughter of the king, is a good target for ransum. Vierna is with me because she was ment to protect me, though I don't see her as a body guard, I see her has a sister." then she realized she hadn't fully introduced herself. "Oh! My apologies. Where are my manners? My name is Nydia Hun'ett. Pleased to meet you Tristan."
There was some rather loud men entering the Inn. She could hear their vulgar words and all the objects smashing on the floor. She wasn't sure if Tristan could hear the Ruckus, after all they were a little ways away from the Inn and Nydia was a Woodland Elf.

He was smiling a lot. Nydia smiled in return, because it made her happy when other people were happy. He then apologized for his reaction and for the stable's condition.
"Oh you are such a sweetheart. But honestly, being a princess to me is just a mere title. I am no more special to you than you are to me. Also, do not fret about your home. I am actually quite used to sleeping outside, and the fact you had offered your space, warms my heart." Nydia could be too kind for her own good.
He then suggested they would go to bed and she did. "Goodnight Tristan."
~Deep into the night~
The sound of breaking windows had awaken the young Elf. She smelled the stench of burning wood and blood. In a swift movement, Nydia jumped up out of the bed and looked out the window. The once black night was painted with all shades of red and oranges from the Inn's demise.
The voice of a brutish man, was talking to Vi outside the stable. She would kill him, then come for Nydia. Knowing Vi, she would leave the poor boy here. Nydia would not have more bloodshed due to the fact they couldn't get him out of the stable.
Nydia approached Tristan's bedside quickly and nudged him. "Tristan, wake up sweetheart. The Inn is under attack. We must leave." she left him there to get up and get ready, while she grabbed her cloaking swinging it over her shoulders. She grabbed her bow and had an arrow at the ready. "Pack what you need, food, clothes, and weapons." she looked out the window and had seen many people fleeing from the Inn. "Can you show me a way out of here without growing through the front? We need to be un noticed to get to Vi out front."
Vierna was supposed to protect Nydia, and normally a princess would flee. In this case, Nydia wanted to help protect herself, and protect her sister whilst doing so. "Lets go!"

He got what he was told, then led them through a little crawl space.
"No worries, I lived in a forest and can turn into a tiger. I am sure a little dirt wont harm me." she just realized that might sound weird to the boy. She had not yet told him she was a druid...Oh well, he will end up finding out somehow right?
They were lead out of the stable and they were pretty far. Nydia could still hear the screams and smashings of objects. She needed to be quit to save Vi.
"Can you turn around?" Tristan obeyed and she stripped down to nothing. Carefully she folded her clothes and got ready to turn. She has been turning into a tiger much of late and it really is starting to take on a toll.
"When you hear a roar, you can turn around and jump on my back." this would, too, sound odd aswell. With a sudden puemp she turned into a Tiger. Nydia let out a roar, loud enough for the mercs at the inn would hear.
Tristan turned around, but Nydia didn't pay attention to his reaction and just patiently waited for him to hop on her back. He did as he was told as she picked up her folded clothes and toosed them up and over her head for Tristan to carry. After all she was carrying him.
Her and Tritan darted into the area with a bunch of dead bodies. Vierna was busy?
There was Vi! Nydia began to run up to her when she noticed a man hiding from Vi. It wouldn't be surprising if he would get caught by her, but at the moment he was hidden and so Nydia was taking him down.
With a sudden shake, she would tip Tristan off of her, so she could run faster and preform a pounce, and pounce she did. The man's head fit perfectly in her mouth, and with a sickening crack, she bit down, crushing his head. The blood was disgusting and she wanted to throw up. Ever see a tiger throw up? Don't. Blood was like a forgein taste and she hated it. It tasted like Rust and copper. Of course she felt bad for kill the guy, which was all a part of her sick tummy.
She transformed into her Elven form ince again and wiped off the blood around her mouth. She turned to Tristan. Well, now he saw her naked. "I would like my clothes back, please." she held out her hand and waited patiently for him to hand them to her.

Nydia ignored the fact Tristan was staring her the way e was. She put on her clothes while Vierna left to fetch the horses.
“Wait! You guys are leaving? So soon?” Nydia grabbed the reins of a horse while wiping the blood from her mouth still. It was a disgusting taste and she couldn't understand why people ate meat.
So soon? They were just attacked for no aparent reason. Nydia could not find any more reason to stay. THen she looked at the brown haired boy and realized what he had left; nothing. He handed him the reins and retrieved another horse.
"Yes, and I would like for you to be my body guard. I cannot get enough of just one." she didn't know how well the boy faught. She was just making up excuses for Vi's sake. With a smile she added one more thing, "And I always wanted a brother."
She hopped up on her horse waiting for everyone to do the same. "Are you coming? You wanted an adventure, right?" no doubt vi would have a word with her later, about bringing strangers along with them. She would probably speak of his unimportance, lack of skill, and how he would slow the two of them down. Though Nydia was in no position to leave the boy behind. Who knows, he could be killed along with the Inn keeper. Also, his home was destroyed, he needed to tag along.
