"Morning sweetheart." Izri's eyes had just opened, and she smiled to Gabriel's greeting. They were at the lake because, well, thats where they ended up stopping.
They hadn't found a home yet, after the last one had been destroyed. After such an incident, he feels Izri's life is not safe, ever.
Gabriel pressed a kiss to her forehead. He was laying on his right shoulder and his left arm hooked around Izri, keeping her close to him, as her head rested on his right arm. "How was your sleep, birthday girl?" seven years, seven years since they had met each other. Her birthday was also their anniversery of the day Izri saved him from the desert. Again he pressed a kiss on her, but this time on her lips. Her smile brightened. They were together after the terrible disaster. It felt now his life had meaning, as before, he wanted to be dead. Izri was amazing. Pretty, kind, selfless, and all around perfect.
"I slept wonderfully!" this time she kissed him on the cheek. He did not want to get up, but the sun was begining to get warm and that would mean a nice dip in the lake.
"I'm glad you slept well." he got up, careful not to bump Izri around and started removing items of clothing. "I am going for a swim, care to join me?" gleefully she got up and started stipping down as well. Her naked body hadn't really phased him. He was used to it by now, and oddly enough, they have not compinsated eachother's love physically. Their relationship seemed to have no physical tention. That is what you get for knowing a girl when she was ten and you were past one hundred years old.
They raced down to the lake and Gabriel picked her up and threw her in playfully into the water. For awhile they were splashing eachother then it calmed down, and now they were just relaxing. She moved closer to him and embraced Gabriel into her arms. Gabriel towered over the delicate girl. She kissed his lips with a kind smile, the one that was made for him and for only his eyes to see.
Then there was a sound in the near by forest someone was coming. Gabriel saw the figure quite clearly. It was another man. As he had seen this stranger, Izri had too, and ran to the shore. There was no doubt the man would have seen her naked from exposing herself to get to her clothes.
Gabriel followed her and he slipped his pants on, over his damp body as Izri just quickly wrapped her cape around her. She was in a hurry not to be seen. Well, she obviously caught enough attention by running out of the lake frantically.
"Who goes there!?" he picked up his sword, ready for any threat towards Izri.

Sunlight shined down down above, casting shadows everywhere, as a pair of white wolves padded softly through the forest, their footsteps barely making any noise. While the two wolves looked like twins, upon closer inspection, one would realize that while they looked the same, they were not, for their eye color differed, and once more, one wolf had a scar on his left eye. The two wolves padded through the forest, enjoying the warm sunlight that shined down on them, warming them up. The two wolves continued through the forest, taking in their surroundings, they were at home, the forest was their natural home. One wolf sniffed the air, and caught two scents, they were faint, but they were still there. I smell something, there are two people nearby. The other wolf sniffed the air, and caught the scent his brother had smelled. You're right, there are two people nearby. It is faint, but I can smell it.
Making their way through the forest as they continued to sniff the air, the scent lead the two of them to the lake, the sound of splashing could be heard, although they were a bit away, the sound was so clear, it was like they were right there. The two wolves padded their way closer, but one wolf stopped, and sat, as his brother stopped when he no longer heard the sound of his brother's footsteps beside him. What is it? One voice... It is female. It is best that we make our presence known, but I will change back. Making their way to the lake, they could now clearly see there was one guy, one girl, even though they were still quite away, a wolf's eyes was incredible. As they got closer and passed through the shadow of a tree, as a few minutes later they emerged, except now there was only one wolf, and the other was a handsome elf, with hair as blue as the ocean, wearing silver armor. If the two people had seen Miles before he had changed back, it would be quite obvious Miles was not an ordinary elf. But it would seem they had not, for the girl had run to the shore as soon as Miles had emerged from the forest.
Although Miles had seen the girl was naked, he did not show any reaction to this, as the guy quickly pulled his pants on, while the girl wrapped her cape around her. "Who goes there!?" Miles saw the man had picked up his sword, as Miles stopped, and slowly pulled his helmet off, revealing his face, and his one good amber eye, his other eye hidden by his hair. "Peace, stranger," Miles said softly, as he stopped a bit from the two, "I mean no harm." Sunlight shined down on Miles, throwing the scar on his left eye into relief. "My brother," Miles indicated to Rudy, who was sitting beside Miles, "Smelled both of your scents, and it led us to here. Tell me strangers, what brings you to this lake?"

The man Removed his helmet and stated he was no threat for the two of them. Still, Gabriel held tightly to his sword. Anyone could make up a lie as easy as that. He would not chance anything for Izri's life. The girl tends to protect herself quite well, but still, he would rather do the protecting for her.
"My brother," Gabriel cocked an eyebrow, looking for another being, but saw just a wolf. "Smelled both of your scents, and it led us to here. Tell me strangers, what brings you to this lake?" hre realized then, that he was refering to the mutt as a brother.
"That does not further answer my question, wanderer." the way he had talked to the blue haired young man, was menacing. He just did not like the way Izri looked so timid. It could be the fact there was a wolf in her presence, and those things can be deadly creatures.
With a slight head gesture, he made a sign towards Izri that she could grab her clothes and go hide behind a tree. She would be safe, Gabriel would make sure of it.
Though the blue haired man didn't answer his question to what his identity was, Gabriel answered his."We had come upon this lake whilst in our journey. It had been a long and tedious travel, and she was in need of rest." with a simple hand gesture he refered to Izri's direction she had gone to change.
Izri came in eye's view, fully clothed. She did not have her Blade Knuckles in her hands, when she felt any danger. To Gabriel, this was a foolish act. She does not know how well he has his pest trained, or how evil he may be.
"Izri..." his voice was demanding her to remain in the spot where she stood. Izri would not take heed of his warning. She had the tendancy of disobeying his orders.
"I am safe, Gabe." she slowly made her way to the man and his companion. Gabriel held his sword at the ready. He noticed Izri's pause, then realized what she was hesitant about. The man had a scar on his eye, and he seemed somewhat...different. Though she paused, she continued to go toawrds the mutt.
"Izri!" she shot a glare back at him. Gabriel knew she did not like it when he was too over protective. She can handle herself true, but again, he didn't want to chance it.
"Does he bite?" she held out her hand in a calm manner. She did not want to spook the dog nor did she want it to sense false insecurity.

"That does not further answer my question, wanderer." The way the young man was talking to Miles, in a menacing tone, did not faze Miles, he merely continued to look calm and look at the two of them, as Rudy sat beside Miles, panting calmly. Miles saw the man make a slight head gesture, as he saw the young girl grab her clothes and hide behind a tree, as Miles focused back on the young man. "We had come upon this lake whilst in our journey. It had been a long and tedious travel, and she was in need of rest." Miles saw the young man make a slight hand gesture in the direction the young girl had gone in to change. "A journey you say... I see..." Miles replied softly, as he saw the young girl come back into sight, fully dressed. "Izri..." The tone of the young man's voice sounded demanding, but it seemed the girl, Izri, was not going to listen to him.
"I am safe, Gabe." Miles saw Izri slowly make her way over to him and Rudy, as Rudy cocked his head to one side in puzzlement, continuing to pant, as Miles watched Izri with a look of mild puzzlement on his face. The man, Gabe, had his sword ready, as Miles then noticed Izri pause, and realized why she had paused. She had seen the scar on his left eye, and although she had paused after seeing it, she continued to move towards him and Rudy. "Izri!" Miles saw Izri shoot a glare at Gabe, before turning back to face him and Rudy, as Rudy whined softly at the tone of Gabe's voice. "Does he bite?" Miles shook his head, as he focused on Izri primarily, while keeping an eye on Gabe, as he saw Izri hold her hand out in a calm manner. "He does not bite. Do not be afraid. You can come up to him and pet him if you wish, Rudy may be a wolf, but I have been with him ever since he was a wolf pup, and he would not bite anyone unless I tell him to. He will not be frightened by you approaching him, if anything, I think he wants to be petted by you."
Miles rubbed the top of Rudy's head, as Rudy whined happily, Miles had the innate ability to sense the different moods of Rudy, and what he was feeling currently. It was partly due to the deep connection they shared. Rudy then offered his head to Izri, waiting for her to pat if she wished. "It seems I have come to learn both of your names unwillingly, so I shall tell you mine. My name is Miles De'Arka, and this is Rudy, my wolf companion. If you do not know by now, I shall tell you. I am a Lythari elf. I am on a journey myself, to find something." Miles paused for a bit, as he looked at Izri, his eye was kind, even though his face remained serious, before looking at Gabe. "I do not know why the two of you are traveling, nor do I want to inquire. But this continent you are on, it is vast, and many can and will get lost on its many trails. I have lived on this continent my entire life.
Unless you know where you are going, you may eventually end up lost. I am willing to help guide you while traveling myself, but the choice, and ultimate decision, is all yours. I leave you now to think it over." Miles then rubbed Rudy's head once more, as he headed towards the wooden dock someone had built long ago that led out onto the lake. Stopping at the edge, Miles stood at the edge of the dock, staring up at the sky, making sure to not hear the conversation between Gabe and Izri.

Gabriel couldn't help but smile when a large one appeared on Izri's beautiful face. She smiled when he said that she could pet the dog. Though when he had said it would if he told her, he was a bit more aware of his actions. If he told that mutt to bite her, he would be chopping off it's head. Izri reached out and patted the wolf and scratched behind its ears. Gabriel returned his gaze to the blue haired man.
He then gave them his name, which was Miles. Aparently he was an Elf on a mission to find something...
"I do not know why the two of you are traveling, nor do I want to inquire. But this continent you are on, it vast, and many call and will get lost on it's many trails. I have lived on this continent my entire life. Unless you know where you are going, you may eventually end up lost. I am willing to help guide you while traveling myself, but the choice, and ultimate decision, is all yours. I leave you now to think it over." Gabriel didn't entirely like the idea of bringing some unkown with them. It also seemed like a breach of his and Izri's privacy.
She smiled up from the dog and walked towards Gabriel. It was evident she had grown attached the the beast already. Of course she would want a tag along. Though Gabriel thought Miles seemed to offer assistance too quickly for comfort.
"What is the harm of them tagging along?" he did not look amused, and she knew it. Instead she ignored it, like always.
"Rape? Murder? Theft?" she shook her head in disagreement.
"You are probably older than this guy, and besides, I can fight too. We are safe. As he said it would be easy to get lost. We need a guide." he would prefer to find himself around, it was very man-like of him to rather getting lost than asking someone for directions. Though this little fluff seems to make Izri very happy.
"Fine, he can be our guide. Though you tell him the news." Izri smiled, turned and was about to walk towards Miles, when Gabriel caught her arm and brought her closer to himself. "Also...Tell him if he tries anything funny... I will decappitate him and his little dog too." she nodded and kissed him on the lips before approaching the elf.
"We gladly accept your assistance, but I warn you and you take heed. Try anything and Gabriel might be forced to kill you." she tried sounding as kind as she could with that threat. She was sure miles wouldn't try anything, but still, Gabriel wasn't too sure himself.

Miles could tell Rudy was extremely happy when Izri patted his head and scratched behind his ears, as he whined happily. Miles then gave his name, and then offered to help guide them, if they wished. He then left them to talk about it amongst themselves, and walked down to the wooden dock that led out onto the lake. As Rudy saw Izri smile and head towards Gabe, Rudy would cock his head to one side, before standing up, and followed after Miles onto the dock. Miles stood on the dock, the sunlight shining down on him, as he felt Rudy brush up against his hand, and Miles looked down at him, and scratched behind Rudy's ears. Miles was more than willing to guide Izri and Gabe around, because in the process, he would be able to search for Stella's grave. No one in his village knew where she had been buried, and the one's that did, had died during the time Miles had been fighting in the war.
His eyes held a look of sorrow in them, sorrow and pain for his lost love, whom he would never see again. Rudy sensed the sadness in Miles, and whined sadly, licking Miles' hand in comfort. Miles once again looked down at his best friend, and rubbed his head, even though he was lost in his past memories of him and Stella. He then heard footsteps behind him, and turned his head slightly to look behind him, and saw Izri come walking up to him, looking past her, he could see that Gabe was clearly not happy, before looking back at Izri once more. "We gladly accept your assistance, but I warn you and you take heed. Try anything and Gabriel might be forced to kill you." "I am honored to be your guide," Miles said, as he bowed politely to Izri, "And you have no need to worry. I have no intention of bring harm upon you or Gabriel. What kind of king would I be if I were to wish to harm a young girl such as you?"
Besides, Miles' heart belonged to one girl, and one girl alone, but he could not move on until he found her grave, and say farewell to her one last time. "When you are ready to leave, let me know." Miles said, as he gave Izri a polite nod. Although his face was calm, almost serene, his eyes conveyed his true feelings, they were calm, but sad.

Izri's eyes shot open as she fell to one knee and bowed her head. They were in the presence of a king. "Sorry, my liege. I had no idea." her luck right? They come across a king and Gabriel has made her threaten him. Lord, she didn't want to threaten him in the first place, but Gabriel had insisted.
She couldn't see the threat within this young looking man. If anything, from the look in his eyes he had more despair than hatred and murder. Gabriel couldn't see that. Sometimes Izri had thought Gabriel had been too close minded for being how old he was...Or perhaps that had made it worse. Age giving him the excuse he knows more and is entitled to having others follow after your opinions. Thats what also made him selfish at times. Yes, Izri could point out his flaws, but she still loves him 'til death.
"When you are ready to leave, let me know."
Gabriel had not been fazed with his title. Nothing but a mere title. How long has Gabriel been on this land? Probably longer than this fool. A part of him, still, wanted to slice this guy's throat. Izri seemed to have made a friend with him, all too quickly. "We can leave now, fool." he spat to the earth, making his disgust in the man more apparent. Izri frowned at him, obviously getting embarrassed for Gabriel's sake...and her own.
"I apologize for Gabriel's attitude. I am sure he wont do it again." her voice held a deeper meaning to it. Almost like a threat towards him. Pitty she doesn't listen to him, maybe he shouldn't listen to her in return.
"Yes, my apologies." that was just to keep Izri content.

"Sorry, my liege. I had no idea." Miles eye flashed in surprise as he saw Izri's eyes shoot open in surprise and fall to one knee, bowing her head to him. "Do not worry," Miles replied gently, bending down slightly so he was face to face with Izri, "There is no need for formalities with me, we are on a journey, and we are all companions, even if I am not welcomed by one. Feel free to call me Miles, my title, is only a title. It only bears power, when confronted by another clan of elves." Miles then straightened up, and told them when they were ready to leave, they should let him know. But just as Miles turned to wait for them, he heard Gabriel speak. "We can leave now, fool." Miles slowly turned his head calmly, as he saw Gabriel spit at the ground, his disgust with Miles all too apparent. But Miles was not fazed by this display of disgust, nor would he react to it violently.
He saw Izri frown, apparently embarrassed, but Miles was not concerned about what Gabriel's opinion of him was, nor would he ever. "I apologize for Gabriel's attitude. I am sure he won't do it again." "Yes, my apologies." Miles merely nodded, to show he was not offended in the least. "You have no need to apologize. Although heed my advice friend, your attitude will not bode well with others. Not everyone has a calm mind these days, and many are hot-headed more than anything. You do not need to consider my advice, but it would help and do you well to at least think it over." With that said, Miles turned, his cape swishing as he did so, and began to walk away, Rudy padding along beside him.
I have no doubt this man has seen his fair share of violence, and can hold his own in a fight. Same goes for Izri. However, it seems men these days wear their emotions on their sleeves, and will fight each other at the drop of a hat...

Think it over? Gabriel did not think over what the elf man had to say. He couldn't care less. He looked at Izri and gave her a look that will hopefully warn her he will need to speak with her in private later.
Miles began walking ahead, but Gabriel walked quickly, eventually catching up and passing him. He didn't want the elf to lead. Izri walked along side Miles and his mutt. She was petting the top of his head whilst walking. "Izri keep up." yes, she is going to get mad at him, but he would rather that than her hanging out with something not human.
How long will this trip be? He didn't even know where they were headed. He just wanted to escape her home town.
(OOC:Sorry its really short....End)
